Employees of the Register-Guard Publishing Company Once you are a member, your family members may also join the Register-Guard Federal Credit Union. Eligible individuals may join the Credit Union simply by completing a membership application and depositing a minimum of $25.00 in a share account. INCREASE THE PROTECTION OF YOUR RGFCU VISA CHECK CARD
Protect Your
Online Card Purchases Online fraud continues to increase on a daily basis. To add a layer of security to your online purchases, the RGFCU asks that you register your RGFCU VISA Check Card (Debit Card) with Verified By VISA. This FREE service provides added protection against fraud when using your card online when shopping at participating merchants. Shop with confidence and assurance that participating merchants are helping keep your internet purchases more secure. To register your card, simply go to the “Links” section and click on the Verified by VISA link or just simple click here Verified by VISA. Then follow the directions to register your card. Deposit Insurance Calculation Tool On July 22, 2010 the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act was signed into law and includes permanently establishing NCUA’s standard maximum share insurance amount to $250,000. All deposit insurance resources reflect this higher level of coverage. Here’s an easy to use e-calculator that will assist you in making sure that your funds on deposit are fully insured. The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) provides insurance on deposits up to $250,000. Individual Retirement Accounts carry a separate insurance of $250,000.

If you live out of the area, or just out of town for a bit, you can still do business with the RGFCU. The RGFCU has partnered up with other small credit unions in Oregon, to provide members with financial services while they are away from home, live out of town, or unable to make it to our RGFCU branch. If you need to make a deposit, withdrawal, cash a check, or sign loan papers these RGFCU partners will be happy to take care of you. There will be no additional charges or fees for their assistance. It’s like a home away from home for our RGFCU members. Just let them know you are an RGFCU member and they are happy to serve you just like family.

The RGFCU provides a variety of tools that can assist you in managing your account on a day-to-day basis. Direct Deposit, Home Banking, Bill Payment and Call 24 are all FREE tools that you can use to keep an eye on your account.

reducing your losses due to non-authorized
transactions. Try one of these tools today. They are FREE, easy to use and will give you the peace of mind.
